Top Notch Educational Programs – Joining puts you in contact with other like minded amateur astronomers. Unlike other clubs where talks are often provided by local members – our speakers are exclusively professionals in the field of Astronomy and Space Technology. Monthly Stargazing Fun – Whether you have a telescope or not, you are welcome to join our monthly Star Parties. Our star parties always include knowledgeable members who regularly assemble at our NW valley viewing site (out towards Wickenburg) for stargazing and fun conversation. If you are a newbie with a newly purchased instrument and need advice or help setting up – come to the Star Party – you welcome to all the help you need.

Off-Site Extracurricular Trips – The WVAC club sponsors interesting field-trips to local astronomy-related venues and organizations. Some of our more recent engaging excursions have been to the LBT Telescope on Mt. Graham, Lowell Observatory with it’s newly renovated Clark Telescope, the Meteorite Lab at ASU, and the Mirror Lab in Tucson, to mention just a few.

Buy and Sell – We offer donated telescopes at Greatly Reduced prices for the beginner or persons wanting to add to their capabilities. We will also list your used gear on our website for the betterment of our members.

How to become a WVAC Member:

You need to fill out a registration form and pay membership dues in order to join the club.

Registration and payment can be done either offline (in-person or by mail) or online on this website. Use any of the following options:

Option 1 – On Line: Fill out and submit the online registration form by clicking this link: Membership Registration. Membership dues can be paid online by clicking this link: Membership Dues. An on-line processing service fee of $1.50 is automatically added to the Membership dues. Note: Online registration will require you to create a username and password for use on this site to access information for members only and to make a payment.

Option 2 – In Person: Attend one of our meetings, fill out a simple form and make your payment.

Option 3 – By Mail: Download our membership form by clicking this link: Membership Form, fill it out, and mail it back to the following address. Your membership dues can also be mailed to this address:
